What is an Outdoor Escape Game?
It’s an immersive live action adventure that takes place on the historic streets of Charleston, SC. Players meet a game master at a prearranged location to recieve their first clue then traverse little and well known locations to solve and open classic escape game puzzles. And if you like there are opportunities to have a drink along the way.
What makes you different from other escape rooms?
At Time Traveler Escape Games, we base our games on little-known history and legends from Charleston's past. You'll travel back in time to solve mysteries and complete missions based on real events from Charleston's history.
How much does it cost?
Our 120-minute games are $52.99 per person.
Do you offer a military discount?
We currently don't offer any discounts.
How old do you have to be to play?
We suggest players are 10+ to keep up with the face paced 1.8 mile walk. Babies in strollers or worn are welcome.
Do I need to make a reservation/purchase tickets in advance?

If I don’t have enough people to fill game.? Will strangers be allowed to play with us?
Currently there are 10 tickets available to each game. If you don't book all 10 tickets strangers may be able to book in with you. It's a great way to make friends.
What happens if I arrive late?
Vincent Chicco's Speakeasy experience we ask you arrive at the designated meeting place 5-10 minutes before your start time. Your starting point will be messaged to the person who booked your group 24 hours before your game. Since you may be playing with other groups we will begin the game without you as to not disrupt the other groups experinece. You may be allowed to catch up with the group unless you're later than 20 minutes. At that point you'll have missed too much of the game and won't have the best experience.
Do you offer team building for businesses?
Yes! The Speakeasy is perfect for Team Building. Email us for details on how to make your game a private event.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, we sell gift certificates online. All gift certificates include SC Admissions tax, so your recipient won't have to pay tax when they book their room. Gift certificates can be printed or sent electronically. To purchase a gift certificate, please click here.
What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?
Our games are non-refundable. If you need to cancel please call or email.
What should I wear?
Casual clothing and comfortable shoes are suggested.
Where are you located?
Since our game is on the Streets of Charleston we have no brick and mortar. However, we will text you 24 hours before your booking to tell you where to meet us. Hint: It's near Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston.
Where should I park?
There are several parking decks along the game course. We suggest public parking at the East Bay/Piroleau Garage. Then there is free local transit you can take back to your car after your game.
